These women have kept alive the ancient bond between vine, wine and community which has always characterized this land. It is our duty to renew this bond, to make it stronger, to highlight its uniqueness. Recognizing the quality of these women’s work acquires a significant symbolical value, especially considering some of Southern Italy’s cultural sedimentations. Behind every great label there is a great vineyard and a great territory, but first and foremost there is the dedicated work of passionate women and men.
