The season of international Wine Fairs in Europe begins with ProWein in Dusseldorf, one of the most prestigious wine shows in Germany and neighbouring countries of Northern Europe. The Tenute Rubino, who export a susbtantial part of their produce to Germany, will exhibit at this Fair. In recent years ProWein has proven to be crucial in learning what consumers want in this important German market and in improving the knowledge of Northern European consumers. 

ProWein 2011 will run from the 27th - 29th March and is likely to be unprecedented: there will be 3500 exhibitors from 50 countries in Dusseldorf, which confirms that this is one of the world’s most important wine fairs - certainly the most crucial for the German market - but also a decisive launch pad into the markets in Northern and East European countries. These figures confirm the idea Rubino Estates employees that investing in fairs is a successful stategy to improve relations with consumers and wine specialists and to keep abreast with trends and opportunities that may arise for wines "Made in Salento". 

'With ProWein 2011 – said Luigi Rubino – we start an important stage of international promotion of The  Rubino Estates, which will focus primarily on the direct contact with consumers and experts to understand better their diverse needs. After ProWein, in the spring we will exhibit at our customary appointment with Vinitaly in Verona, then we will fly to Brasil to exhibit at ExpoVinis in Sao Paolo in April. We aim to strengthen our presence on the international markets and enter emerging markets, which, we believe are ready to welcome a product that is strongly linked to its area of origin like our wines are. We hope that wine making in Apulia will take a leap that will enable us to showcase ourselves with more mature credentials on the international markets'.At ProWein 2011 you will be able to taste Rubino Estates’ wines in Hall 3 - Stand 3 J 140. As well as the new production of their Classic line, Rubino Estates will also present their new standard  line: Malvasia Bianca 2010, Negroamaro Rosato 2010, Negroamaro rosso 2008 and Primitivo2008.
