Early, in the morning groups of women reach the vineyards. Hours pass among the rows of Negroamaro, to perform the rite of the grape harvest.

 

Grape harvesters carry the grapes

The manual harvesting of the bunches allows a careful selection. The baskets are unloaded and the grapes are transported to the cellar.
