The Duemilavini guide from AIS in Rome describes Tenute Rubino as one of the leading companies in Apulian wine production.

The Duemilavini guide from AIS in Rome directed by Franco Maria Ricci already started taking notice of Tenute Rubino in 2003 when the 2001 Visellio won it’s 5 Grappoli award.
In 2004, when the same recognition went to the 2001 Torre Testa, the guide stated that Tenute Rubino is 'one of the fine wineries emerging onto the scene of modern Apulian oenology. Although very young, Tenute Rubino has been able to make great strides, achieving excellence with remarkable speed .... The average quality level is high, their wines are rich and pleasant and are rightfully giving considerable commercial success".
2005 was a year of splendor: "Tenute Rubino is one of the leading companies in Apulian production with wines of undoubted value. Torre Testa leads the lot, being a step from the 5 grappoli award, and succeeds in enhancing the value of the native vine of Susumaniello." 2007 was the year of the Visellio 2004.
In the 2009 edition of the guide, the 2006 Torre Testa was awarded with the 5 Grappoli: "Elegant and full. Alternating sensations of black cherry in spirit to rose petals, balsamic tones of eucalyptus, mint and chocolate candy with liquor flavour. Majestic on the palate, it is perfect in every component: great balance, fine tannins and rewarding freshness. A long lasting menthol wake.... "
