HOW TO PREPARE FOR VINITALY

COME PREPARARSI AL VINITALY

Romina Leopardi is head of Marketing and Communications at Tenute Rubino. All the choices that concern the corporate image are under her control. Thus, her voice is the most appropriate in order to tell the story of the preparation of Vinitaly 2015, from the point of view of an exhibitor.

Vinitaly is one of the main appointments of our yearly schedule. To take part in the fair means to participate to the biggest gathering of wine stakeholders in Italy, thus having the chance of renewing professional connections that most of the times have begun true friendships. Vinitaly has a strong awareness between consumers: even the ones who are not usually interested in the wine field know the exhibition and would like to visit it.

The organisation of an exhibitor’s presence at Vinitaly requires time. We have started the process months ago and this is still involving many areas: the board, communication department, sales, production, finance and our architect, Massimo Castiello, as well. You need to book your space and get new ideas every year about how to use it and you have to make sure everything is printed with the finest quality. An important task is taking care of logistics, but above all, I think that the main point is setting clearly the goals of your presence at the fair. Because Vinitaly is so big that, without a clear strategic plan, the risk is being floored among the many attractions coming out from everywhere.

150.000 visitors in four days, an uninterrupted flow of presentations, hands shaking, meetings and… ankle pain at the end of each day.
In this 2015 edition, scheduled on 22nd – 25th March, Tenute Rubino is going to stand in its usual place, G3/10 inside the Puglia hall, but with a brand new stand, larger and more comfortable, where we will be proud of showing our novelties. New wines and new projects, like this blog and a renovated attention to wine tourism, the virtual and the real keys to open the door of our cellar. Verona is far away but we cannot wait to get there. In the Arena of wine, Puglia has already learnt to be a protagonist and Tenute Rubino knows that it is one of its main actors.
