The second event of Calici in Viaggio: discovering Malvasia.

The first event of Calici in Viaggio was a true sensory and fun journey into the world of red wines.

We immersed ourselves in the tasting of our Jaddico 2019Negroamaro – Susumaniello, made a stop in Tuscany with Il Poggiale, Sangiovese – Canaiolo – Colorino, and crossed the border to France with a Château du Tertre Margaux 2019, a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, 13% Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot.

Calici in Viaggio is a food & wine format designed for the backpackers of oenology, for those who want to fully immerse themselves in a wine and discover its history, territory, and secrets!

Our tasting evenings are also perfect for beginners who want to be guided in an informal setting by a professional like Carmine Galasso, Best Sommelier of Puglia 2023 (AIS).

The theme of the second evening will be Malvasia wines! Get ready for the second journey into the world of wine, and at the end of the night, we’ll have a fun wine contest (with a great prize!).

Guided tasting of three wines paired with three dishes (a true wine-pairing dinner

Greek stop: Malva de Crete 2022 – IGP Crete – Idaia, paired with Greek salad.

Puglia stop: Giancola 2023 – IGP Salento – Tenute Rubino, paired with Cavatelli allo scoglio.

Friuli stop: Malvasia 2023 – Collio DOC – Doro Princic, paired with Frico.
