The Torre Testa 2021 in the new “Revelation Wines” category of the Vitae 2026 Guide

The Torre Testa 2021 has been selected for an important new recognition introduced by the Vitae Guide: the “Revelation Wines”, a category established for the 2026 edition of the guide.

The “Revelation Wines” section is dedicated to those wines that the Vitae Guide describes as “The discovery of the future — greatness made of boldness and new interpretations.” It is a new space for exploration, showcasing “Wines that, once poured into the glass, have the power to amaze. A collection of courageous choices, designed for those who wish to discover where Italian wine is heading. You will find new interpretations of grape varieties, emerging territories stepping into the spotlight, and producers who are writing the future.”

The Torre Testa 2021 is therefore among the 100 wines chosen to represent innovation and the new directions of the Italian wine scene — a recognition that fills us with pride, as it celebrates a pioneering project: the preservation of Susumaniello and the historic, native grape varieties of Puglia.

This is a Cru born by the sea, from the Jaddico estate — a pure Susumaniello, intense and elegant, a red wine partially made from dried grapes, distinguished by its vibrant acidity and fine tannins.

The prestige of this recognition is rooted in the history and evolution of the Italian Sommelier Association (AIS) and the Vitae Guide — the result of a team effort that combines the established experience of senior members with the youthful energy of new professionals, offering a complete and dynamic perspective on the world of wine.
